American actors, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum, have announced that they will be separating after almost a decade of marriage. The two dancers have taken to Instagram to share the news.

According to their announcement, ‘no secrets nor salacious events’ caused the separation. Here’s what they said:
‘We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.’
The couple met on the set of Step Up and started dating in 2006, eventually getting married in 2009. Dewan is presently the host of NBC’s ‘World of Dance’, while Channing is taking on the role of Migo in ‘Smallfoot’, a soon to be released animation movie.
