Rising star, Onome Patria Eyamaro has just relocated to Nigeria from Canada to pursue a career in music. The pretty singer, who already has two of her singles, ‘Epiphany’ and ‘Moferan’ ready, says she is now fully in Nigeria to popularise her music.
Speaking on how music started for her, she said: ‘I started taking music seriously about two years ago, I started playing instruments like the guitar, piano and the violin. I moved from there to RnB music because that is my favourite genre. Later I picked interest in Nigerian music after I listened to some, I fell in love with it and that’s how I started doing music.’
Onome, who is currently a student of Mass Communication and Multimedia at York University, Canada, says her parent are in full support of her career.
‘My mum has been a lover of music and she always supported me but my dad didn’t know that I could sing until recently when I sent him a couple of my songs and he began to take it seriously. He has been supporting me since then,’ she added.
