US singer-songwriter-performer Bruce Springsteen will be releasing his 17th album titled ‘Wrecking Ball’ on March 6, 2012. The announcement was made Thursday morning on the rocker’s website.
Springsteen released the first of the album ‘We Take Care of Our Own on January 19, 2012 although it leaked a day before. The song makes special references to the current struggles of the United States of America.
The album which consists of 11 songs and two special edition bonus tracks was produced by multi-award–winning producer Ron Aniello.
‘It’s some of the best of his career’, Springsteen’s manager, Jon Landau who also the executive producer of the album comments on the songs off the album.
Springsteen born September 23, 1949 released his first studio album in 1973 and has won 20 Grammy Awards in his music career.
