An Angry Arsenal fan has been arrested for confronting Arsene Wenger towards the end of the club’s defeat to Southampton.
After a disappointing performance on Thursday, January 1, 2015, which saw Arsenal record a 2 – 0 scoreline against Southampton, the visibly angry fan, wearing a purple hoody, jeans and white trainers, confronted Wenger and his assistant, Steve Bould and made offensive gestures as they sat in the away dugout at St Mary’s.
Luckily for Wenger, the supporter was immediately hauled away by two stewards after it appeared he wasn’t going to show any restraint upon confronting the Arsenal coach and his assistant.
