Speaking with American lifestyle website ‘Cosmopolitan,’ Jade, who has been photographing the female form for 15 years, said she posted her shot of seven nude women with their nipples and genital blurred to document her own post-pregnancy form but somehow it got yanked off Facebook after some men didn’t welcome the idea.
‘I received many private messages (all from men) telling me I should remove the photo, When someone, likely one of these men, realised she’d missed blurring one nipple, the photo was taken down.’
She also said her aim is to redefine society’s idea of beautiful women, especially those whose bodies have transformed through pregnancy and childbirth.
‘But what I would love most is for Americans to redefine their relationship to a woman’s breasts and to praise and celebrate the nude, varying body shapes without having to label them as disgusting or unhealthy.’
