At his federal court sentencing on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, Harris also agreed to forfeit the $171,000 he made from the television show, along with a 2011 Audi R8 sports car worth $111,000.
Back in April 2015, Harris pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess heroin and cocaine. Prosecutors say the 37-year-old was involved in drug trafficking from 2005 until 2012.
Harris’ attorney, Donald Thompson, says the judge recognized the work Harris has been doing since his arrest to deter young people from drug trafficking, thus he got the lowest possible term under a plea agreement that included a maximum sentence of just over 10 years.
