With the release of their 5th studio album, TWO Plus, Tunde and Wunmi Obe are set to return to TV after a 6-year hiatus.
The celebrity couple became popular in the 90s for their comedy segment on the Charly Boy show, and followed up with ‘Zoom Time’ which stopped airing in 2009.
In a recent interview with NET, the duo announced that they’ll be making a return to TV this year.
‘We’ve promised that this year, we just want to get done with this album and then return to TV. Trust me, it’s still going to be our usual style because we see people laugh at things that aren’t really funny on TV, so we are challenged and we’ll attempt TV again. We stopped the Charly Boy show around 2003, then did Zoom Time and stopped around 2009, so it’s been a long time but we’ll make a return this year.’
