The much anticipated Beyonce September 2018 Vogue cover has been trending since it’s release and has brought a lot of attention to the talented 23-year-old young photographer, Tyler Mitchell after he became the first ever black photographer to shoot a Vogue Magazine cover in the publication’s 126-year history.
Tyler who is still overwhelmed by the buzz around the shoot took to his Twitter page to share how he feels following the positive attention he has gotten so far. He revealed that he cried three times as he shared the front cover from the edition.
Mitchell also cleared the air stating that it was Condé Nast’s Corporate Creative Director, Anna Wintour, and Raul Martinez who hired him for the shoot rather than the rumoured enlistment by Beyoncé herself.
“The truth is, Raul Martinez and Anna Wintour, proposed and hired me for the Vogue shoot and Beyoncé quickly agreed,” Mitchell tweeted.
