Nigerian journalist Ms Bola Davies is dead.
The 46-year-old journalist died in Akure on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 after a brief illness.
Until her death, Bola Davies was the Oyo/Osun Bureau chief of leading soft-sell magazine, City People.
Confirming her death to Thenetng, City People Magazine publisher, Seye Kehinde says, ‘It’s a sad development.’
He went on to say, ‘She has been ill for a while but we were all optimistic that she would get out of it hale and hearty, but she gave up yesterday.’

Her death comes almost one year after Folusho Samuel‘s death. Folusho was a journalist with Encomium Magazine, who later became the publisher of The Society Nigeria. He died on Thursday, October 29, 2015 after a brief illness.
