Once upon a time not too long ago, B.O.U.Q.U.I used to be the hottest rapper in the country. But after her second album ‘Redefinition‘ (which confused us as to which sort of genre she represented), people started to take her career as a rapper less seriously.
Her on and off-the-scene pattern over the years hasn’t really been the best for her career and yes other rappers (they might not necessarily be better) have risen to claim her spot.
But the Gospel-conservative rapper is back with a new single. The cut, ‘Sokutuyoyo’, which will pass for a Mo’Cheddah song any day. Produced by Samklef (who seems to be the go-to man for pop-esque tracks), the song might make it to the dance floor alright, but won’t be restoring this beautiful rhymer back to the top.
