Nigerian Entertainment Today has announced a strategic content partnership with Movie Moments, a Nollywood resource organization based in Lagos Nigeria.
NET Publisher Ayeni Adekunle details the deal as a three-year venture that will have Movie Moments (also called MOMO) deliver editorial contents from its digital platform through NET’s weekly print newspaper.
MOMO currently runs one of Nigeria’s most respected and most trusted Nollywood information and entertainment websites, with audiences from Nigeria, Kenya, London, USA, France, South Africa and Brazil.
‘We’re keen to have our presence felt on all platforms, and having done exceedingly well in our first year online, we’re extending our reach to traditional platforms like print, radio and TV. Instead of going out alone, we’re partnering with brands already established on these platforms, and there’s no other entertainment brand with a successful print edition right now like Nigerian Entertainment Today’, MOMO founder Abisoye Fagade says.
Every week, readers will have for themselves a weekly MOMO pull out in NET, featuring reviews, news, gossip, interviews, and other juicy content.
‘This is a collaboration that will help both parties, we’re happy to enrich our Nollywood coverage while giving our friends at MOMO a platform to reach a new set of audiences across the country’, notes Ayeni.
Both organizations will also jointly train reporters and provide opportunities for engaging the industry on sundry issues.
This is NET second partnership with a media outlet in less than three months after landing a major international partnership with popular news agency, Bang Showbiz in early June.
