The body of the late literary giant Chinua Achebe arrived Nigeria on Tuesday May 21, 2013 via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The body was later transferred via a private aircraft to the deceased hometown in Enugu State, where it was received by Augustine Achebe on behalf of the family.
Chinua Achebe who died March, 21, 2013 in Boston, Massachusetts, US, at the age of 82 will be buried on Thursday, May 23, 2013 (today).
