Dele Odule is a Nigerian entertainment industry favorite having bagged years of experience acting in movies, stage plays, and television soap operas.
Kickstarting his career by joining a theatre troupe in 1977, Dele Odule has come a long way.
In a recently published book titled, Success Is Not Served A La Carte, Dele Odule mentioned that the reason he has lasted this long in the industry is because he doesn’t compete with anyone but himself. In his words, “When you do things your own way and you believe in what you’re doing, the sky is not going to be the limit but the starting point”.
His expertise has also gained recognition as he was nominated in the “Best Supporting Actor (Yoruba)” category at the 2014 Best of Nollywood Awards for his role in the film Kori Koto. He currently serves as the President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria.
Along with other movie veterans like Pete Edochie and Olu Jacobs, Dele Odule is featured in one of Azuh Arinze’s latest literary works titled, Success Is Not Served A La Carte. The book is an enlightening collection of one on one interview sessions with 30 high-profiled individuals in the country including; Christopher Kolade of Cadbury/LBS, Tony Ezenna of Orange Drugs, Anselm Madubuko of Revival Assembly, Steve Babaeko of X3M Ideas, to name a few. The book explores the success stories of these individuals, and also provides key insights into their lives.
