Omawumi Megbele has covered the 32nd edition of Pop culture publication Bubbles Magazine.
The Pop singer is one of the few females at the forefront of the Nigerian music industry. In her interview, Oma reveals that despite the rise of other females artistes, she does not see any competition.
'I don't pay attention to these things o. The emergence of other female artistes like Tiwa, Waje, Seyi Shay, Ruby, Chidinma, and everyone else makes me feel proud and happy. Back then there was only one slot for female artistes but now, there's a variety of options to choose from', she said.
'Tiwa and I do not sound alike. Waje sounds different from me even though people tend to think we sound alike. If you become a fan of our music individually, you'll be able to spot the difference. Waje is musical while I am philosophical', she said about her peers Tiwa Savage and Waje.
