Flavour stole the show last night at 2Baba’s concert Buckwyld and Breathless when he brought a full Igbo masquerade on stage to perform Ogene with him.
The audience went wild when the colourful masquerade got on stage during Flavour’s set.
The highlife musician has always shown an appreciation for his culture, nicknaming himself ‘Ijele’ after the iconic Igbo masquerade of the same name.
The Ogene track is a fusion of the traditional music of southeastern Nigerian and hiphop laced with Flavour’s vocals. The song originally featured fellow Igbo boy Zoro.
