Last week, American television station Lifetime aired a six-part documentary series on R&B singer
alleged sexual abuse and sex cult. The series interviewed 50 different people, including his ex-wife and several other women who claim to have been molested and manipulated by the 51-year-old musician over the last two decades. Many of them shared how they were victims of his depraved sex ring.
While the series producer dream hampton
revealed that a number of other entertainers like Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion,
and Dave Chapelle
- all of who declined to be part of the series. Only John Legend did.
That has not stopped other entertainers from pitching into the conversations on social media. Jad Pinkett-Smith, NEYO, Kerry Washington are some of the people who have spoken openly about the series and the embattled R Kelly.
