As he follows up his widely popular single “Wetin We Gain” with a collaboration with Davido, singer Victor AD has touched on the pant-stealing trend in many Nigerian neighbourhoods in a short freestyle he dropped on Instagram.

The untitled verse had in part “I fit do song wey go make people think say na me increase the stealing of pant, I no dey perfect…” and is not unconnected to the furore after his song Wetin We Gain seemingly encouraged becoming rich at all cost. Along with Olamide and Lil Kesh who released Logo Benz, Victor AD had been criticized for making morally reprehensible music.
The singer has been making music since 2014 but it wasn’t until 2018 that he scored a hit. Most recently, he joined Davido, with who he has a new single Tire You, on stage at his London concert.
