Ultimate Love will be ending this weekend.
Multichoice, the creators of the show, released a statement to announce that the show will be ending on Sunday, March 29, 2020, due to growing concerns about the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria.
Ultimate Love is a reality show where 16 strangers (eight men and eight women) live together for eight weeks. The show premiered on February 9th, and since then, the housemates have gotten to know each other better in an attempt to find true love.
Viewers vote for their favourite couples each week, so the housemates with the lowest votes have been getting evicted from ‘Aunty’s Love Pad.’
The couple to survive all evictions wins the show and gets a furnished apartment, a fully sponsored wedding, and a cash prize of five million Naira after being married for one year.
Even though Ultimate Love will only be ending a week early, viewers will miss the show for its resemblance to Big Brother Naija, and for being a useful companion in these days of social distancing.
The results of the round of voting ending tonight will be announced at 7 pm tomorrow March 25, 2020, while the finale voting will begin at 10 pm Wednesday, March 26 and end on Friday, March 27, 2020, at 9 pm.
Don’t forget to vote for your favourite couples, and watch the drama unfold on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29.
