Ronaldo scored four times as Real Madrid mauled Malmoe.

Spanish clubs Real and Atletico Madrid, England’s Man City and German’s Wolfsburg topped the 2015/16 UEFA Champions League group A, C, D and B respectively to proceed to the ‘Round of 16’ in style.

R/Madrid mauled Malmoe 8-0, Man City made a comeback to defeat Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-2 at the Etihad stadium, while Atletico also beats Benfica 2-1 away from home during their last group stage games yesterday, December 8.


Wolfsburg sent Manchester United packing after successfully defeating them for the first time 3-2 at home, giving a room for Netherlands club PSV who qualified into the round of 16 for the first time since 2006/07, with two points ahead of the Reds, following a 2-1 win against CSKA Moscow.

Other teams that confirmed their ticket to the next stage last night include, PSG, Juventus, and Benfica.
