American rapper, TY Dolla $ign will have his Georgia drug possession case dropped and his record wiped clean if he can stay drug-free for the next few months.
TMZ who sighted court documents reports that prosecutors in Atlanta struck a deal last week with the rapper with the rapper whose real name is Tyrone William Griffin Jr entering an online drug prevention program, and lay off weed and Rx drugs. Doing that will make all charges including two felonies and a misdemeanour vanish.

The state of Georgia calls it the ‘Second Chance’ program, which typically takes up to 13 weeks. Ty will also be subject to random drug testing during the program.
Atlanta grand jury indicted Ty after police arrested him back in September whilst travelling down for fellow rapper G Easy’s show in Fulton County, and allegedly found weed and cocaine in his bag.
Sources connected to the case tell us the deal was struck after Ty’s attorney, Steve Sadow, met with prosecutors to point out weaknesses in the case.
If the case went to trial and he was convicted, the 33-year-old hip-hop star could have spent up to 15 years in prison as he was arrested in the state of Georgia, where drug laws are more stiffer.
