Early this morning, news filtered into twitter that DMW boss, Davido, was involved in an altercation during his concert yesterday which saw the singer being accused of slapping one Tumi Lawrence, the manager of his colleague and collaborator Kizz Daniel.
According to Tumi, Davido and his crew attacked him because he was seen backstage around his changing spot, resulting to him allegedly getting smacked in the face by the singer.
The situation reportedly caused Kizz Daniel, Tumi’s principal to abandon a scheduled joint performance of their collaborative effort ‘One Ticket’ as he stormed out of the event with his team leaving Davido who went ahead to do the song alone.
Davido has now responded to the allegations, suggesting that Tumi, the victim wasn’t exactly telling the truth about what really transpired during the conflict.
Responding to Tumi, Davido said his accuser know that he didn’t touch him and declared that is heart has always been pure towards Kizz Daniel and is people. “call me all names you want YOU KNOW IVE BEEN GOOD AND SUPPORTIVE TO YOU GUYS,” the singer said as he defended himself.
Kizz Daniel has since unfollowed Davido on social media and it’s unclear how their relationship will be moving forward.
