Last year, Nigerian comedian and compere Tee A marked the 20th anniversary of his artistry with a grand dinner and concert at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos.
This year, the event returns to Intercontinental but with a twist: it’s an exclusive corporate event that will host only 500 guests. ‘Independence Day Corporate Tyme Out With Tee A’ holds on Sunday October 1, 2017 and is purposely designed to feature only a select few.
‘Like the name implies, it’s a corporate event for some of our corporate clients and partners from over the years who have supported us all the way but may not have been able to attend our previous events,’ Tee A said to NET. ‘You know last year we had the 20th anniversary dinner and concert and it was open to all. This year we want our partners and corporate clients to relax and enjoy their independence day with a classy comedy and music time out.’
Tee A does have a point. Easily one of the top five comperes in the entire country, he’s known as the ‘TurnUp Mc’- a testament to his unassailable artistry to make any event go from 0-100 in few seconds. One minute he’s welcoming bank execs, Fortune 500 directors and such like to an event; the next he’s making them crack up with laughter- creating an atmosphere of fun and excitement.
That’s exactly what he’s doing at Corporate Tyme Out With Tee A on October 1- but not for everybody. There are no individual tickets nor would tickets be sold at the venue.
‘Only tables. Again like I said, it’s an exclusive event and we want our corporate friends and partners to have the best of fun in a very cozy environment. It’s not everyday that these corporate clients and high net worth individuals get to let their hair down and we want to make sure we give them the best experience. But if any individual wants to be part of this exclusive event, maybe the person could get a few of their friends and buy a table.’
Tables start at N250,000, N500,000 and N 1 million.
