Premium beer brand, Star Lager Beer, gave football fans in Imo a spectacular viewing experience on Saturday June 2nd at the Star Fan Park in the beautiful city of Owerri. The match seen on the big screens was an international friendly between the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles and the English national football team, the Three Lions, in preparation for Russia 2018 at the Wembley Stadium London.
The fun filled night began with music, great conversations and laughter as guests flooded Star fan park to watch the National team take on the Three lions. Football fans were also treated to exhilarating football games to loosen them up in anticipation of the adrenaline packed match.
Hosted by MC Lafup, the event saw the unification of the brand’s biggest activation platforms, music and football with the official DJ of the night, DJ Neptune and football as fans experienced the premium viewing of the match. In addition to the mesmerizing display of skills and great goals, fans were glued to the impressive massive screens as they enjoyed Star Lager and other side attractions to cap off the remarkable viewing experience.

Star Lager Beer, brewed by Nigerian Breweries Plc, a Heineken Company will be launching a series of activities through “Nigeria United We Shine” campaign, with the objective of supporting the Super Eagles and Nigerian football as they shine on in Russia.
Star Lager will also be hosting a series of Star Fan Park all year round promising Nigerian football and music fans a much bigger and better experience when the games eventually begin in Russia.
