The MTN Pulse Campus Invasion launched at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Osun State was big, loud and had double dose of fun! The maiden edition which began at the University, started on Monday, 2nd of July 2018 with the MTN Sales Village at the the Students’ Union Building and ended with the Pulse Talk Series and the Pulse District on Friday, 6th July, 2018. It was activity after activity of fun.
Here are the six things we loved:
- The Games Were Hilarious
The MTN Sales Village in front of the Student Union Building became the go-to-place. Each day brought along a game funnier than the last one.
There was the “How-Long-Can-You-Carry-Her’ Game that had us bent over in laughter.
Then there was the “Propose-To-Her’ Game. People had to propose to their fellow ‘gamers’ in their indigenous language
- The Football Skills Are Legendary
Students poured in to take part in the fun as they bought and checked out various MTN products and services at the stands.
- The MTN Pulse Convertible was LIT!
Oooooooooh! The Pulse Convertible looked even better in reality than in pictures. It looked like it just came out of a Fast and Furious movie! Students couldn’t stop posing with the car and taking selfies with it!
- It Rained Gifts!
Okay, let’s break this down for you – for any transaction at the MTN Sales Village, you got an automatic ticket in the raffle! If you came in to change your sim, you had a chance at the raffle draw. If you moved from one tariff plan to the other, you got a ticket in the raffle that evening!
You see, it rained gifts! Well it was raining and there were loads of gift. So, it was raining gifts. Raffle draw winners got phone gifts. Those who ran round a table, got phone gifts. There were gifts everywhere and at different times around the Sales Village.
- You Got to Learn More About MTN Pulse
At the Sales Village, the extremely nice ‘MTN Babes’ were very helpful with any questions you had about MTN products and services. We also got to hear a lot about the MTN Pulse tariff plan. It’s a prepaid tariff plan for the young, active and data loving person. In fact, it is a movement of bold individuals and like minds who are not afraid to express themselves.
- The Pulse Talk Series and the Noiseless Parties Were The BOMB
Hmmmmmn. We need a minute to relive the last day of the Invasion. Friday, 6th July, 2018, was a flurry of exciting activities. At the Oduduwa Hall, there was the Pulse Talk Series that had Bimpe Onakoya, award winning make-up artist and Steve Harris, Life and Business Strategist, as the lead speakers. The session was vibrant, energetic and inspiring all at the same time.
Then there was the MTN Pulse District outside the Oduduwa Hall. It was a Centre for all the fun you could possibly have. The highlight of the District was the Noiseless parties where got to party as loud as you wanted with head-sets strapped to your head yet, no one else could hear a thing! Imagine if all parties were like that!
