Popular US entertainment magazine, Rolling Stone in its new edition has crowned rapper Eminem as the ‘King of Hip Hop’. The Detroit city native tops the list of 20 rappers including the likes of Jay Z, Kanye West and Rick Ross.
The news has begun to raise criticism amongst Hip Hop enthusiasts around the world with every man naming his/her own number one. Some Hip-Hop enthusiasts around the world believe Eminem doesn’t deserve the number one spot while others say Marshall Mathers deserves the crown.
The magazine says that the list was formed by analyzing data like album sales, YouTube hits and social networking popularity to determine who has the highest index number and eventually be crowned the ‘King’.
Other artistes who made the list are Diddy, Big Boi of Outkast, B.O.B, Lupe Fiasco, Pitbull, and Kid CuDi.
