After a time-jump, a council of all the powerful leaders convenes to talk about Tyrion, a now-imprisoned Jon, and what happens next. Jon is the Unsullied’s prisoner, and it’s a topic of concern among Arya and Sansa Stark, they don’t want to see their brother killed. Especially since he just officially picked their side over Dany’s. Other members of this leaders like Yara, Robert Arryn, Edmure Tully however, are fine with Jon being killed.
When Greyworm grew impatient about their banter and wanted an immediate decision on what to be done to Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow. Tyrion comes up with the idea of parliamentary democracy, and poor Samwell Tarly dreams up direct democracy and gets shot down for it. Edmure Tully also aims for the vacant position, and Sansa shuts him up before he could finish his manifesto.
Tyrion nominates “Bran the Broken,” which is a terrible nickname, as king. Bran smirks, in that way that suggests he’s thriving on this messy Bravo-like drama, and nonchalantly replies, “Why do you think I came all this way?” (the nerve he has!). However, just before the meeting ended, Sansa Stark crowns herself queen of an independent North.
