The move by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is believed to have something to do with the tension between Kate Middleton and Meghan, though DailyMail reports that Harry’s wife can’t be entirely blamed for the move.
According to multiple sources quoted by the publication, Indeed, Harry’s marriage to Meghan in May has hastened both Princes’s decision to on their separate ways in terms of living arrangements even though their paths will naturally diverge as Williams steps up to become the Prince of Wales.
While it’s evident that Meghan and Kate do not have a particularly close relationship due to the difference in their personalities, the real reason why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are moving out of their Nottinghill Cottage on the grounds of the Kensington Palace where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge live is so that they can both because he wants to escape constant public scrutiny of royal life for the sake of his marriage and his unborn child.
The couple chose Frogmore Estate for several reasons, one being the cost of the work that would be needed to bring Apartment 1 up to scratch. The other reason is that Harry doesn’t want to raise his family up in such a visible manner as his brother.
