Veteran broadcaster, Dayo Adeneye, who is currently the Ogun State Commissioner of Information, has admitted during a recent interview that he misses the entertainment scene but does not regret his decision to delve into the politics.
Kennis Music as a media organisation run by both Adeneye and his partner, KeKe Ogungbe, was instrumental in the growth of the Nigerian music industry as they took the industry to new heights and put it on the global scene.
They also helped bring forth artistes like Eedris Abdulkareem, 2Baba (then known as 2face Idibia), Tony Tetuila, Paul Play and KSB.
During the interview when asked if he missed the entertainment industry, he replied, ‘Yes I miss a bit of being on air but being a politician is a wider platform of reaching people.’
