Ghanaian actress and TV personality, Joselyn Dumas teamed up with ‘Forces Help Ghana’ (FHG), to clean up Kotobabi Township in Accra, Ghana recently.
The clean up exercise, which took place on Thursday, November 6, 2014 with community members involved in the laudable initiative all the way, was aimed at eradicating the outbreak of cholera in the country
Speaking on the exercise, the TV host said: ‘We as citizens of Ghana do not need to embark on something big before we can do away with cholera. It’s the little things like washing our hands with soap any time we visit the lavatory & before we eat, cleaning our surroundings frequently, and disposing of garbage at the right places that matter.’
As part of the project, Joselyn also distributed Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS) to the community members.
Notably one of the most recognisable Ghanaian female actresses, Joselyn won the Oustanding Personality in Creative Entrepreneurship at the just concluded All Africa Media Networks awards for 2014.
