  • Iginla had earlier admitted that he acquired a house worth over $1 million (over N365m) in the United States.

Pastor Joshua Iginla, the founder of Champions Royal Assembly, has just bought a multi-billion Naira private jet. He revealed this during a sermon in yesterday’s Sunday service in his church located at Abuja.

In a statement in the church on Sunday, Iginla said: “the new wonder on air is to ease the missionary work as a prophet with global impact.”

The church justified the move saying that “Acquiring a private jet is not a luxury but borne out of necessity. Arguably, Nigerian prophets are among the most sought out globally.

“Most times, they are needed in two or three countries in different continents in a day. Hence, there is need to create a very easy means of transportation for them, couple with the fact that our transportation industry is still way behind compared to other developed countries and that is why we see men of God purchasing private jets, not to showoff but to make movement easy for them for evangelical and missionary purposes.”

Earlier in the year, the cleric was also brought into the spotlight when he openly admitted before his church members and the general public, to have cheated on his wife and impregnated a woman. He claimed at the time that there was infidelity on both sides in the marriage, which was why he decided to openly admit his mistakes and move on.

The revelation happened shortly after Pastor Iginla had admitted in February that he bought a house worth over $1 million (over N365m) in the United States where his wife and children currently reside.
