There is talent and there is TALENT o! What I saw at the mPulse Planet yesterday was TALENT OVERLOAD! I watched with my mouth agape as young boys bent over easels, drew magic right out of their sketch pads! Our generation will say ‘we were ‘shook’’! ‘Shook is an understatement’.

Waris Kareem, 11 and Adekoya Pelumi 15, stunned all as they brought to life with pencil and paper, compelling images that showed us that ‘abinibi is different from ‘ability’. Waris Kareem and Adekoya Pelumi rendered Chidinma and Mannie in paper and charcoal as we looked on in wonder. The drawings were so life like! mPulse Planet was the perfect place for the kids to show the stuff there were made of. It was the official launch of mPulse, a proposition from MTN Nigeria for tweens and teens aged nine (9) to sixteen (16).
It was the perfect place and time to launch a tween-friendly web app targeted at the young ones. Thousands of children stepped into a world of colour and fun as MTN Nigeria turned the Landmark Events Centre into a whole new place. Talent was brimming from every corner of the expansive building. From children drawing, to teens building robots, to young ones painting. The excitement was on max levels from the beginning till the last kid bounced out of the mPulse planet.
Now, there ain’t no fun like when kids Partay!
