Novak Djokovic has defeated Roger Federer to win the 2015 Wimbledon Open, his third of the title in his career. The 28- World No. 1 defeated Federer 7-6 (1), 6-7 (10), 6-4, 6-3 to clinch the title.
Both players also met at last year’s final of the Wimbledon Open and Djokovic has now won 8 grand slams in 4 years, making him the one of the most successful tennis player in recent times.
This is the third Wimbledon win for Djokovic after similar triumphs in 2014 and 2011. Federer has however won the Wimbledon Open a record 7 times (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012).
