Niyola’s live performance concert held yesterday at the Bridge in Lekki Phase 1 in front of an adoring audience.
The singer, who was supposed to release her debut album earlier this year but couldn’t due to some health challenges, used the opportunity of this concert to give her fans a sneak peek at what could have been if that album had dropped.

Titled ‘Yours Truly’, the concert was hosted by comedian Chigurl with DJ Nana as the official DJ.
The show had the distinction of having an all-female lineup of performers and was opened by a lively dance performance from the GGB Dancers.
Other performers at the show include former OAP and poet Wana Udoabang who presented a poem titled ‘Catfish’.
Former Cross River State governor, Donald Duke was in attendance to see his daughter Xerona perform on stage and later do a duet with Niyola.
Also present at the show was Niyola’s label boss, Banky W and former label mate, Skales. Also seen was M.I Abaga, Lynxxx, DJ Lambo, Tekno, Bez, Sasha and Mavin Records’ D’Prince.

For those present, they were privileged to witness Niyola perform about five songs from her upcoming musical project.
This concert was the first of what is planned to be a quarterly live band showcase of Niyola’s body of work for her friends and fans.
