The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, today embarked on an indefinite strike after accusing the Federal government of Nigeria of not implementing the memorandum of action which they signed in September 2017
The strike which affects all state and federal universities has generated lot of reaction from many students and Nigerian twitter users.

I am sure those who have been boasting that ASUU has not gone on strike too much under their preferred candidate didn’t see this coming. This is how rapture will happen. You will be drinking small stout in one corner in Ilupeju, alarm will just blow, suddenly suddenly.

If you are a coder affected by ASUU strike, tweet me a project you have online. You can stay busy in this period by interning with @hotelsng. Backend, Frontend, Design and Android tasks available.

On ASUU, we shouldn’t be in a position where ALL the lecturers in ALL our public universities can withdraw their services at the same time. As is often the case, the problem is structural and successive governments refuse to address it, letting down helpless students. Sad.
