The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) recently unveiled the 2016/17 national team home kits – a pine green sweat-wicking kit that features the team crest and signature.
The new jersey costs N29,000 at the moment and with the Super Eagles set to face Algeria in a Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification match on Saturday, November 12, many still believe the new kit is expensive to afford with the present state of things in the country.
Read some reactions below:
It’s cheaper for Nigerian in dollar-spending countries
This Facebook user believes it won’t fill her belly
This person asking if wearing it will take him to heaven
And this person who want them to drop the price by nearly 85%
What? N29,000 could get someone a plot of land in Ogun State?
This person thinks the new naira value made the cost scary
LOL!
Oh my gosh!
Maybe next time
I pondered on the N29k Super Eagles jersey, in the end, I will buy next time
