Gospel singer Yinka Ayefele and his crew were attacked in Ekiti State on October 27 after performing at the palace of Ewi of Ado Ekiti during the visit of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
‘After the event (at the Ewi’s palace in Ado Ekiti), the hoodlums approached him for settlement and he gave them N50,000 but other groups came again asking for settlement,’ the singer’s manager told Thenetng.
‘In the process of vandalising the vehicle, Ayefele’s scooter was damaged, phones and undisclosed amount of money were stolen.’
