A 45-year-old farmer, John Ulaha has reportedly impregnated his mother-in-law, Ashetu Igbasue in Nassarawa state.

Ulaha, who is a native of Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State shocked friends and family members when it was revealed that he and his 42-year-old mother-in-law had been having an affair since September 2017 when she relocated to Awe to harvest her farm.

According to Igbasue who later confessed, their amorous relationship started at the farm but carried on when they got back to their homestead. This act continued daily until she became pregnant three months later.

Igbasue said, “I agreed to his demand and thought it was just to satisfy his sexual feelings, but somehow, it became a daily thing. I never thought I could get pregnant due to my age. I told my daughter the truth so that we can get a solution to it and out of anger she went public with it. The whole thing was a temptation and I completely regret it. I have pleaded for forgiveness from her.”

On his part, Ulaha said he wasn’t strong enough to resist the temptation coming from Igbasue.

Ulaha said, “She would always sit with bare clothes on before me. At first, it was embarrassing to me. But I later discovered that her actions were an open invitation and as a man I was tempted at a point and that led to something else. And we both continued in that order until our actions resulted in pregnancy.”

Despite the shameful acts exhibited by her mother and husband, Ulaha’s wife, Victoria, disclosed that she is not ready to quit the marriage. She also added that her mother would have no choice but to terminate the pregnancy.

Victoria said: “It would have been better for him to get a second wife who will be stationed at home or even look for a girlfriend to satisfy him in my absence rather than going into a love affair with my own mother. It is a very shameful thing and an abomination of the highest order, it is wrong.”
