MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that its subscribers can stay connected to election updates as it happens this weekend and beyond through over 10 local and international news channels on DStv and GOtv.
Martin Mabutho, General Manager Marketing, MultiChoice Nigeria assured that the organisation will provide insightful and thorough coverage of the election and post-election activities in Nigeria.
‘Without a doubt, we have a wide enough array of news channels offering our subscribers different perspectives and angles on the election. The channels have a duty to inform and we have provided the platforms for them to do so.’
CNN will be covering the crucial Nigeria elections in-depth across TV, online and mobile. Senior International Correspondent, Nima Elbagir will be leading the network’s coverage on the ground in Nigeria, backed by expert analysis from around the world.

Subscribers of DStv can catch up with the election updates on channels like: Channels Television, SilverBird Television, African Independent Television (AIT), Muhri International Television (MiTV), Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Lagos Television (LTV), as well as the international and global news channels like CNN, CNBC Africa, BBC, Al Jazeera, and Arise News.
While GOtv subscribers can be informed through international news channels such as CNN, Al Jazeera and Arise. On the local platform, GOtv subscribers will also get to watch all free-to-air news channels.
