The video for one of Mr. Eazi’s early hits ‘Anointing’ has gone missing from YouTube. The song which features Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie was released in 2016 and accompanied by a music video that resided in the singer’s YouTube channel that now has over three hundred thousand (300k) subscribers.
Anointing can be deemed one of Eazi’s opus as it became an anthem of sorts in the year of its release, raking millions of views on the video streaming platform.
This discovery is being made days after fans lamented the absence of Kanye West’s debut album, The College Dropout from YouTube and Apple Music. According to Apple, Kanye’s project was pulled down by Def Jam (the label responsible for the distribution of the album).

It is, however, unknown if Anointing was removed on Eazi’s orders or as a result of a system glitch from the platforms end. YouTube is the number one digital video sharing platform with over 1 billion users worldwide.
The reason behind its disappearance from YouTube remains unknown, but it is needful to note that although not on his official account, the audio can still be found on YouTube.
During its release in June 2016, the video for Anointing was available via this YouTube Link which was distributed to bloggers for dissemination. As of the time of this article, the said link leads to an error message that reads; This video is unavailable.
The audio for Anointing, however, remains available on Apple Music.
