Liverpool have reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for a reported £40m fee.
The Reds became favourites to sign the midfielder after he turned down a move to Chelsea, reportedly for personal reasons.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was in the last year of his contract with the Gunners and is expected to complete a move to Anfield.
The 24-year-old’s management, Colossal Sport Management, reportedly also tweeted to confirm a deal had been agreed before deleting it soon after.
‘DEAL AGREED!!!! # LIVERPOOL # YNWA # COLOSSAL # LFC’, the tweet read.
