Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch, Kris Jenner has revealed that the extramarital affair she had while married to her on her late ex-husband Robert Kardashian is nothing she is proud of and is indeed one of her life’s regrets. The reality TV guru made the disclosure during an interview with Fox News Channel’s programme ‘OBJECTified’.
In the interview set to air Sunday, Jenner, 62, She told host Harvey Levin:
“I married Robert when I was 22 years old and I got pregnant on my honeymoon – I had the happiest life you could’ve dreamed about. But when you’re in something, sometimes people think the grass is always greener and that was what I think I went through at some point.”
When asked about her affair with a soccer player later, revealed to be Emmy nominated animator, Todd Waterman. Jenner acknowledges that it was true.
“I did, I did,” she says. “Which wasn’t — nothing I’m proud of. When I look back on it now, probably one of my biggest regrets in my life is that my marriage fell apart.
“Because it made it real,” she says. “Like, you think you’re going to come through this period — that was really hard for me.”
According to her, things became worse for her when businessman and attorney, Robert Kardashian Sr. best known for his role on O.J. Simpson’s legal dream team cut off her credit cards.
She said: “I didn’t have anything. I went to the market one day and my credit card didn’t work. I had a market credit card and I’m like, ‘I can’t even buy a tomato.”
Robert Kardashian Sr., who was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in July 2003 and died less than eight weeks later, at age 59, on September 30, 2003.
Robert who married Kris in 1978 later divorced her in 1991. Before their divorce, they welcomed four children together: Kourtney, 39, Kim, 37, Khloé, 34, and Rob, 31.
Kris jenner who went on to marry former Olympian Bruce Jenner and had a further two children: Kendall, 22 and 20-year-old Kylie.
