Two years after his last album was released, Nigerian pop star Kcee has announced the forthcoming release of his third album, titled Eastern Conference.
The project he says is a nod to his highlife heritage. Highlife music is widely popular in the eastern part of Nigeria where Kcee (real name) Kevin Okwonkwo is from.
This Album is dedicated to everyone who values their culture and is proud of their roots.
We are African and proud and I have decided to showcase our indigenous highlife sound in its many forms to the world! Out April 5th #higlifemusic

The album cover itself boldly represents the cultural and musical heritage with Kcee promises as it shows him dressed in the rich attire of the Igbo people, holding an ivory tusk in one hand with the backdrop of the Niger Bridge. Eastern Conference is set for release on April 5 under his imprint, Five Star Music.
