According to TMZ, sources say the rapper’s wife, Kim Kardashian-West will be a guest on ‘Ellen’ Wednesday where she would drop a massive surprise on behalf of her man.
Sources say that on the show, Kim revealed she and Kanye had a serious discussion on how they could ease the burden on those tasked with battling the inferno, which prompted the G.O.O.D Music boss to swing into action.
It’s said that Kim told Ellen DeGeneres that Kanye went to Adidas and his Yeezy brand to canvas for relief funds, and they were quick to raise $500,000.
On how the money will be expended, Kim will present a $200,000 check to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund and a $200,000 check to the California Fire Foundation. Also, will Kim present a $100k check to a firefighter, Michael Williams and his wife who are also featured on ‘Ellen’ this Wednesday. The couple lost their own home, but Williams continued to battle the fires and saved many of his neighbours’ homes.
Hundreds of homes including the Malibu mansions of celebrities of Kaitlyn Jenner, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and more were razed to the fire.
The Wests Hidden Hills mansion was also partially affected by the inferno and many of the couple’s neighbours praised them for hiring a private crew to help extinguish the flames and save many other homes.
