Some crew members of TV series “Empire” who feel betrayed by actor Jussie Smollett for potentially damaging the show’s image, want him written off it immediately.
The actor returned to set after he was released on bail following his arrest on Thursday morning, even as detectives “continue to investigate” the many twists associated with the case.

TMZ reports that many of the “Empire” actors are “f**king furious” and feel if FOX honchos don’t fire Jussie, the embattled should exit on his own as he doesn’t deserve to remain on the hit show.
Jussie’s colleagues are reportedly angry because they initially had his back after the “attack,” but in light of the new evidence by the Chicago police department, a lot of them feel hurt and embarrassed.
However, sources claim that there are still some cast and crew members who believe Jussie’s telling the truth because they can’t imagine why he would want to pull off a hoax like this.
The situation is reported to have caused arguments as they discussed how to best handle the issue.
Smollett is in trouble for allegedly raising a false alarm and filing a report that he was a victim of racial and homophobic hate after he was ‘attacked’ on January 29 by two men who he said also doused him with a liquid substance believed to be bleach.
