Culture advocate and former editor, The Guardian on Sunday, Jahman Anikulapo has endorsed Chris Ihidero’s new book, Wanderings of a Rapidly Degenerating Mind.
According to the foremost journalist, ‘The first virtue you’ll catch in a Chris-speak is the high sense of satire; then the humour, sharp, focused and affective – flowing from an obviously engaging and resourceful fountain of knowledge. This was what earned him invitation (almost a plead from me) to write a short column for ‘The Guardian Life’ magazine, which I edited then. That was one point-on editorial decision.’
The book is a six-part epic, divided into Music & Showbiz, Books, People, Issues of the Heart and Daring the Heaven-lies, featuring the trademark sharp-tongued wit, sarcasm and self-deprecating humour of Chris Ihidero.
