Seven years after, Chris Brown’s assault of Rihanna still haunts him on a daily basis. The singer gets candid about his troubled years in a new trailer for his documentary ‘Welcome to my life,’ and it’s all pretty intense and emotional.

The doc is made up of his old and new interviews and commentary from Brown’s friends and family including his mother Joyce Hawkins, Jamie Foxx, Usher, DJ Khaled, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, and Mary J. Blige.
In addition to highlighting his success, it delves into darker times in his life, including his turbulent relationship with Rihanna; ‘It was like a fairytale, which led to drug use and even suicidal thoughts, I was thinking about suicide and everything else’.
