Students render their voices to pray for their cancer-stricken teacher.
About 400 students serenaded their beloved teacher, Ben Ellis outside his home last week to show love and support while he battles an aggressive cancer.
Ellis, who has been teaching Latin and Bible Studies at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, USA since 2008, was diagnosed with cancer last year.
Even after he began chemotherapy treatments, he still showed up to school to be with his beloved kids.
‘It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in my entire life’, Nate Morrow, headmaster of the school where he teaches told ABC News.
‘He is one of the kindest and intentionally loving people I’ve ever met in my life’, he continued. ‘I think that’s what really characterizes him. He’s always pursuing other people in wanting to get to know them and love them.’
We join our voices to pray for this man who has obviously inspired these kids in more ways than one.
