Disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein is reportedly growing impatient and desperate as he continues to get turned down in his attempts to hire a female lawyer to help prosecute his sexual allegation case.
last month, it was widely reported that Weinstein hired Pamela Mackey (who successfully defended Kobe Bryant against a rape accusation) who was supposed add power to his “dream team” of attorneys including Jose Baez and Ronald S. Sullivan Jr.

But both Weinstein and Mackey fell off almost immediately following a serious disagreement over her fee. This is after his former lawyer, Ben Brafman, quit last month and Weinstein now has a race against time to assemble his team well ahead of the June 3 trial where faces life in prison if convicted.
“People around Harvey are saying he’s desperately trying to hire a ‘skirt’ — their term — for the team as he feels it will soften his image,” an insider indicated.
Some of the woman already working for Weinstein according to spokesman Juda Engelmayer are LA-based Blair Berk as well as two female lawyers, Dayliset Rielo and Michelle Medina, who work for the Baez law firm.
As an insatiable Weinstein tries to hire others, among the other top female lawyers who have turned Weinstein down are Isabelle Kirshner and Susan Necheles, who both declined to comment according to Page Six
Another source claims that “Harvey does not want to pay premium fees”. His arguments to women lawyers are like the ones he used on young actresses who felt underpaid: It will be good for your career to be on my team for the notoriety and fame.
