Still basking in the buzz from winning Big Brother Naija 2017, Efe opened up on his experience since winning the show in a chat with Thenetng.

Efe said he was overwhelmed when he came out of the house and realised that people organised prayer sessions for him.

‘This taught me that Nigerians are passionate about whatever they are set to do,’ he began.

‘I felt people perceived me as being arrogant, because I did not send anybody while in the house.

‘So I was surprised when I came and saw that people thought I was humble, so I think I will just continue in that path.’

While other housemates had strategies to enable them remain in the three-month show, Efe confessed that he had no strategy.

‘I had no strategy while in the house, na the way I dey live outside the house, I dey live inside the house.

‘Back in Jos, I was not an artiste who would be playing loud music at home, no. I usually did that in the studio and as time went on, I realised that I was not even showing my artiste side in the big brother house.’

Efe also stated that winning the N25m will not lead to him frolicking about with women.

‘My priorities are different, Marvis was my crush while in the house but she has a boyfriend, so I’m single.

‘Although a lot of girls may start flocking around me, I’m not moved by girls or anything. I’m just me.’

The 24-year-old also revealed that contesting in Big Brother Naija was the first time he took an international trip.

‘Oh boy, I fear o. In fact, taking off and landing really made me scared because of the turbulence.’

However, he expressed gratitude to YBNL boss, Olamide for promising to support his music career and to comedian, I Go Dye who donated N1m to his cause.

‘I called I Go Dye when I came back and he cut the phone and called me back, he no even talk say because this boy don get twenty-five million naira, he suppose be the one to dey call me,’ Efe said.
