Facebook is on the hunt for a Director of Global Music Licensing Partnerships. What this means, Facebook plans to make music a major part of their business.

An advert on their site says Facebook is searching for an individual who is passionate about the changing music ecosystem, technology and supporting our goal of connecting people through social media, the mobile eco-system and business strategy.

It is not clear yet if Facebook has plans for a streaming service like Spotify or Apple Music, but it is apparent that it certainly considers music a major part of their strategy in the near future.
